Thank you for visiting my website...
My BLOG is running:
www.minderjahn.wordpress.com
My funny and personal stories about immigration to New Zealand, the trouble we had with the language, different cultural aspects, a little Baby (my son Henry was 3 month old, when we arrived), and the daily fights with household appliances, especially a develish washing machine, (After more than 10 years I still have most of these problems....- just the Baby is now 11!) Anyway on the Blog I write in English and German, so just look out for the different Categories in the Menue and choose your language. Yoy'll also find posts about Healthy Living, De-cluttering your space, easy to follow craft projects and links to interesting websites. I am happy for any comments and in case you get hooked and want to read more, you can subscribe on the Blog site and then receive my new posts via e-mail.

My work went to Italy...
I was very excited about the invitation to show my work at the "Legato" exhibition for Peace and Remembrance in Cassino, Italy in May 2010. I choose four heart paintings and attached some of my 2007 poems on peace, respect and remembering. A big Thank you to Francesca for translating my poems into Italian. I also donated a pile of my "Positive Fashion for Kids" t-shirts for the children visiting the exhibition in Italy and received some beautiful photos of the kids with the t-shisrts from organiser Kay deLatour..
My work went to China...
Finally the Chinese Authorities accepted the import of my artworks. Unfortunately due to the long hold-up at customs the gallery space, where my art should have been shown, is not available anymore. But my agent is working hard to find another venue to finally exhibit my artwork there!
