Thank you for visiting my website...
I can't believe, it is 2010 already. But the new year started well.
During the summer holidays I had to travel to every skate board ramp in the area with my son, Henry (10), and watch all those dangerous stunts on his bike. I needed more antiseptic fluid for wound care than olive oil for cooking. We walked along our beautiful New Zealand beaches and I even had to try out fishing (unsuccessful, but that goes well with my more sensitive artist personality). Killing animals before I eat them would definitely turn me into a Vegetarian!
After reading some wonderful books and sitting on my deck with cool drinks, I got back to work in my studio with new inspiration and lots of ideas.
I started a new series of paintings in a slightly different style called "Reflections". Some of them you can see on my website already. I also tried new media like Collages (series: "Melancholy of an Alien"), abstract works on paper, new digital photo art and more writing. I can't work as fast as the ideas are coming...
My paintings are now presented in 29 apartments and suits of the NAUTILUS Hotel in Orewa. More of my art works can be viewed at MATAKANA GALLERY & DESIGN in Matakana and at ROOM SERVICE INTERIORS and RINKE DESIGN in Newmarket, Auckland.

My work goes to Italy...
I am very excited about the invitation to show my work at the "Legato" exhibition for Peace and Remembrance in Cassino, Italy. I choose four heart paintings to attach some of my 2007 poems on peace, respect and remembering. A big Thank you to Francesca for translating my poems into Italian. I also thought that some of my "Positive Fashion for Kids" t-shirts fit the topic perfectly. Therefore I donated a pile of t-shirts with peace and respect messages for childrens projects in combination with the exhibition.
